About Jon Rosenbloom
Jon Rosenbloom graduated cum laude from McGill University with a Bacherlor’s degree in economics, but quickly began working in film and TV production in New York City. Starting as a production assistant, and then learning the Grip Arts, Jon has been a familiar face on high profile sets for over 10 years. From small prestige productions such as “Kids,” and “My Blueberry Nights,” to the largest studio productions - “The Soprano’s,” “Indiana Jones IV,” Jon has experienced film-making of almost every imaginable stripe.
A savvy observer of what works and what does not, Jon weds his vast practical experience to a keen eye and an innate understanding of photographic principles and techniques to meet the challenges of more modest productions.
Often working with little margin for error, Jon is not only a master of light, but also a master of bringing together exactly the right tools to get the job done.
